Wilhelm Automotive, a family owned and operated auto repair company, will host a pet food drive at each of its seven locations this September. The food drive will benefit Chuck Waggin' Pet Food Pantry, an organization dedicated to helping pet owners who are facing financial challenges. With any pet food donation made at the stores in September, Wilhelm Automotive will offer each customer $15 off any auto repair service.
The mission of Chuck Waggin' is to provide pet food and pet service referrals to keep pets and families who love them together. Chuck Waggin' Pet Food Pantry assists low income families and the elderly with food for their pets, thus assuring that pets can stay in the home rather than being relinquished. This innovative program, founded in 2012, is also part of the Phoenix Animal Care Coalition 911 (PACC 911) that brings together more than 120 animal welfare organizations in Arizona.
"At Wilhelm Automotive, we know the pets are part of the family, and we are happy to reach out to the community to support families and pets that may need an extra helping hand, particularly during the holiday season. This is a simple way to support Chuck Waggin', so they can continue to take care of families and pets in need," said Chris Garman, Wilhelm Automotive President.
Donations can be dropped off at any of Wilhelm's seven Valley locations during the month. For more information about Chuck Waggin' Pet Food Pantry, visit http://www.chuckwaggin.org/.
